There is an old saying about "flogging a dead horse," which means that there’s no use in doing something that’s pointless. I cannot imagine a reason for flogging a live horse. The saying is used today to refer to matters that may still be alive for some people. So, once again we need to talk about the Sunday morning service schedule.
After lots of talk this year and Parish Council agreeing in the summer to have a trial period for the new worship times it’s now time to review the schedule. We have to decide if we’ll make this a permanent schedule (at least until a future Parish Council changes it).
At the November meeting of the Parish Council there will be a motion to make the trial schedule permanent. But before the decision is made the members of Parish Council would like to know what you think.
